SINGING (& THE ARTS) IN SCHOOLS

Our singing-based workshops and brand new SuperstARTS programmes (in development) are a brilliant answer to your ‘wow day’ needs and to support you in delivering a wide and varied curriculum offer by use of singing and other art forms. We have options for all school-aged children and young people to have an enhanced educational experience through use of singing and arts and we can work with anywhere between one class or choir and your whole school!

Josephine, supported by other singing and arts facilitators, heads up this line of work as a multi-skilled professional musician and educator who is a vocal specialist with over 10 years experience in delivering and managing singing-based activities in music education across a huge number of schools and in other settings. You are in capable and creative hands as you experience our inspiring and memorable singing and arts activities!

We are based in Liverpool, UK and cater for the Merseyside area (and a little further away for a small additional charge).

If you are interested in booking or simply finding out more, head over to the Contact page to send through your enquiry and we will reply to you as soon as we can!

What’s in the pipeline with the Programme:

·        For Primary Schools: Infants (EYFS & KS1) and Juniors (KS2) options

·        SuperstARTS is designed to enhance the learning experience of children using curriculum topics through use of singing, and other creative and expressive arts.

·        A singing workshop with each class and their staff takes place to introduce songs ahead of a SuperstARTS Experience a few weeks later which brings classes together using an imaginative combination of songs, actions, stories, arts & crafts.

·         Our SuperstARTS topics are ‘The Big Blue Sea’ for Infants and ‘Highlights of History’ for Juniors. These programmes are each to feature a set of original Bluesky Singing songs. You can listen to a clip of ‘The Greatest In The Ocean’ above, or sign up here free for the full version.

·         A singing workshop is provided for each participating class to introduce the materials. These are usually 45-minutes to 60-minutes long for one class at a time in a classroom. The SuperstARTS Experience, which takes place a few weeks later, needs to be in your largest school hall and is 60-70 minutes long.

·         PLUS - Your school will be given a unique password-protected Bluesky Singing webpage with relevant resources available to stream or download. Other practical support is available by email.

·        ADD-ONS - We plan to have some fantastic additions available; a staff singing training session, a 2nd art form practitioner (such as Art & Dance), and songwriting with a selected group.
